South East Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr Amy Touzell is a fully qualified, Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest in minimally invasive surgery to the foot and ankle.

After completing medical school through the University of Newcastle in 2005, she moved back home to Melbourne for orthopaedic surgical training where she undertook an additional five years of orthopaedic surgical training.

She completed the very first year of her training at Frankston public hospital and loved the Bayside area so much she returned to live with her young family.

Following completion of the intensive Australian orthopaedic surgical training program, Dr Touzell moved to the United Kingdom for two years to learn the latest minimally invasive techniques in lower limb deformity correction and complex trauma management and worked in major trauma centres including Southmead Hospital in Bristol, and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
